Visiting Planet 13, The World’s Largest Dispensary

Planet 13 is not just the world’s largest dispensary. It’s also an incredible display of the potential of the cannabis plant to not only provide medicinal and therapeutic benefits – but foster community as well. 

P13 is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition to the dispensary floor, it has a bar, a coffee shop, a restaurant, a gift shop, and a full production facility. Thanks to the team at Planet 13, the Veriheal Team was fortunate enough to get an exclusive tour of the facility and its many different spaces. 

This tour was truly a unique experience from start to finish. From the mind-bending visual effects in the lobby to the innovative manufacturing systems, Planet 13 made it clear that it is not your average dispensary. The team at Planet 13 invited the Veriheal squad to smoke up in their bus, complete with fun special effects and premium cannabis samples to take home. 

And no smoke sesh is complete without munchies. P13’s in-house restaurant, Trece, was the ideal spot to indulge in tacos and margaritas, along with some sweet treats from the gift shop, of course. 

Sufficiently smoked-up and satiated, the Veriheal Team had the opportunity to see the Planet 13 staff at work – including the manufacturing robots that help package P13’s edible products. These robots contribute to P13’s unique vibes: they’re not only efficient at their jobs, but these robots have unique personalities with the ability to take breaks, share beers together, and even duel with lightsabers. (And, as a huge Star Wars fan, watching this duel was better than anything I could have ever imagined). 

Their humanoid robots gave even more perspective on the vibes at Planet 13, a place where even robots can kick back, relax, and reset before returning to work. 

After seeing the packaging process, the Veriheal team got an exclusive look at Planet 13’s production process. Dressed in full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), we saw how Planet 13 makes its high-quality products from start to finish, including their new pink lemonade gummies. 

Above all else, one of the team’s favorite parts of the tour was nerding out with one of P13’s top budtenders, Beau. Beau was not only knowledgeable about the products that P13 currently carries, but as a long-term employee, he could also provide insight into the history of the dispensary itself, from its award-winning cultivation process to its many locations across the globe.

The dispensary floor at P13 is immense and has an incredible variety of products on display – from concentrates to edibles, flower, and much more. Under Beau’s guidance, the Veriheal Team had the opportunity to sample some of Planet 13’s potent – and tasty – infused pre-rolls. In other words, visiting the Planet 13 dispensary was the perfect way to end our tour of this one-of-a-kind cannabis haven and express our gratitude to Beau and the rest of the team for giving us an inside look.
