The cannabis industry is one of the fastest-growing and evolving industries in the world, and the quality of the products created for smoking purposes is evolving alongside it. One of the current forerunners in the marijuana scene isPuffco, a luxury brand dedicated to creating top-shelf smoking devices for hash, wax, and other cannabis concentrates as well as flower.
Many cannabis connoisseurs are familiar with devices like thePuffco Peak, which was one of the first devices ever launched by the brand. They quickly gained notoriety due to the rig’s ease of use, sleek design, and long battery life. After years of smoking out of traditional dab rigs, which can be tricky to heat properly and are often troublesome to clean, the Puffco Peak was a welcome addition to the cannabis community.
Since then, however, Puffco has expanded its product lineup with several innovative new devices. We were fortunate to have an opportunity to check out the new products firsthand, and we’re excited to share our thoughts with you!
First up is the Puffco Proxy Kit, which we received in the gorgeous limited-edition emerald green colorway Flourish. The Proxy Kit is a Sherlock-esque style glass pipe + base, perfect for on-the-go cannabis users. It features an easy-to-use button, a tough silicone shell, haptic vibration, and good airflow for consistently quality hits. The Proxy base can be easily removed and put into other Proxy Pieces, such as the Wizard, Bub, or Ryan Fitt Recycler. You can also take the base out and try it in other places–such as a watermelon!
This device comes with 4 preprogrammed heat settings, making it incredibly easy to heat your cannabis concentrates exactly how you want. Puffco’s 3D technology and the Proxy’s ceramic bowl allow for the terpenes to stay well-preserved throughout the dab so that you can enjoy flavorful, full-spectrum cannabis.
Another piece in the Puffco Proxy collection is the Ripple glassware, which adds water to your Proxy experience. This adorable rounded bubbler pairs with the Proxy base to create a smoother, cleaner hit with great airflow and an ergonomic mouthpiece. It retains the same emphasis on flavor as the rest of the Proxy products but with a more stable, homey feel to it.
The design of the Ripple is sleek and modern, making it a perfect addition to your coffee table or living room shelf. It comes in two beautiful colors (Sea and Sage) and is easily cleaned between uses to maintain its high quality for life.
Next up is the silicone Puffco Proxy Travel Pipe, a compact, shatterproof pipe that comes in four different colors. This piece is incredibly durable, making it perfect for even the clumsiest of cannabis users. It has a little pocket perfect for storing Q-tips for cleaning. Despite its small size, it packs a punch and provides good airflow, an ergonomic feel, and quality hits no matter where you are. Try this pipe out on your next hiking or camping trip–you’ll be surprised at how well it holds up!
Coming in last (but certainly not least) is the Puffco Hot Knife, which may be our favorite product of the bunch. This genius device makes taking dabs easier than ever, eliminating sticky waste and messes typically associated with smoking concentrates.
The Hot Knife is slick, discreet, and ceramic with a range of limited-edition colors to choose from. To use it, you simply scoop up your wax and tap the button to heat up the device; after that, the wax slides off into your bowl. Smoking hash has never been so easy! It helps to stretch your stash further so you aren’t wasting concentrate, and you can use it even if you don’t have another Puffco device. If you only choose one item from the Puffco line, we recommend that you make it this one.
Overall, we’re incredibly satisfied with the newest line of Puffco products. The designs are well-researched and executed, and the new colors are simply beautiful no matter which one you decide best fits your aesthetic. Whether you’re a cannabis newbie or an experienced toker, we strongly advise that you check them out for yourself–you won’t be disappointed.
